Enjoyable though the Santa’s Fun Run is for both participants and organisers, it is primarily a charity fund raising event. To help us reach our target this year of £15,000, we rely on both Corporate Sponsors and Entrant Sponsors.

 

CORPORATE SPONSORS

The Rotary Clubs are indebted to those local companies featured at the bottom of each page of our web-site who substantially fund our “up front costs”. Without this, we would not be able to organise Santa’s Fun Run. Take a moment to visit their web pages by clicking on their logos.

We do have room for more sponsors though: so if your company would like to raise its profile in the local community and help make the Marlow Santa’s Fun Run even bigger and better, then drop us an email or give us a call.

 

ENTRANT’S SPONSORSHIP

We ask all entrants to raise a little sponsorship - just £10 would be a fabulous start. And thanks to the Government’s generosity we can claim back a further £2.80 for your supporters who are also taxpayers.

To encourage you further, we agree to donate 50% of your sponsorship monies to your own favourite charity. The balance will be used to support Rotary charities - this year we have a very local focus  - “Youth in Marlow”.

 

So how do you start? It could not be easier. Either:.

• Set up your very own Just Giving web-page (very easy - it will only take 15 minutes).
• Email the web address to all your friends and family.
• They donate on-line: you don’t even have to collect cash from them.!

or

• Download and print a more traditional Sponsorship form and collect monies directly from your friends and family.
• Or you can do both!

 

As a special incentive, the entrant who collects the most sponsorship for Rotary charities will be invited as Rotary’s VIP guest of honour to an evening meeting including dinner and drinks early in 2010 to present Rotary’s cheques to the “Youth in Marlow” charities.
